~ VITTLES FOR LEPRECHAUNS ~

It's a special St. Patrick's Day edition of Foodie Friday. The talented Gollum at Designs by Gollum
is our hostess for this event. Please visit her blog to see what goodies she & others are sharing today.
*

I'm hoping if we eat some GREEN food it'll bring us some "Luck of the Irish" on this Friday the thirteenth!
*
Let's see what's on the table for all hungry Leprechauns...
*
The first dish is Asian Slaw...it is a recipe from wonderful Ms. Rhoda @
Southern Hospitality Thanks Rhoda!
You can find her recipe here
This is really delicious...I've made it several times & used Splenda instead of sugar & reduced the oil to save a few calories & it comes out great every time.
*
Next we have a plate of steamed asparagus...I LOVE fresh asparagus!
No recipe needed for this one...
*
The next dish is "Holiday Green Beans" a recipe from Diane @ A Picture is Worth a 1,000 Words
You can find her recipe here . I've made this twice...the first time using the canned green beans as stated in the recipe & the second time using frozen green beans & cooked in a skillet on top of the stove...Both times they were wonderful. Thanks Diane!
*
This is "Squash Casserole" from a recipe I got from All Recipes website...
there are dozens of variations listed there so I won't list this particular one.
*
And the best part of a meal...dessert! This is another fabulous recipe from Diane @ A Picture is Worth a 1,000 Words
This is "Weight Watchers Yogurt Pie" & her recipe can be found here
This pie is scrumptious!!!
*
Okay, let's eat! (Mr. Bo asked, "where's the beef?" & I told him the eggs & cheese in the casserole would stand in for the beef)...He said he really liked his Leprechaun meal...
I wish you all a LUCKY Friday the 13th!!!
Thanks for your visit & thanks Gollum for hosting this event...

I think I could eat everyone of those food with no complaints about any "beef". Looks yummy! Thanks for dropping by my blog and commenting. After posting that I did some more searching on info about Prussian porcelain and did better examination of the marking to find that it had a crown with a "B" so I did find out the maker and am going to keep looking for more info on the pattern. Good morning Bo, yes we arrived home at midnight last night. Rain and fog made the trip nearly 12 hours. sigh. It was all worth it. I will send an email when I wake up a bit.

Your Irish meal just needed some green beer. Big smile. It looks delicious. My mother gave me the recipe for the yogurt pie and I cherish it because she wrote it out and signed it. Just a memory to keep.

Thank you so much for all the wonderful kind words thee past few day Bo. I love you for your caring support.

Big hugs to you this AM. Bill just brought me my coffee. Mmmmmm.

love, Jeanne
