You Want Some Cheese With That Whine...er, Wine?

Welcome to Tablescape Tuesday...Today I'm showing a wine & cheese soiree in my breakfast nook
*
I removed the chairs in this photo because of the conflicting patterns on the chair cushions
*
This is a cloche I picked up at a thrift store that was missing its top and I attached the metal filigree doodad to it
*
This is a closeup of the pattern on the pierced edge plate...I have 4 of this design...I usually use these plates for pasta dinners
*
This is a closeup of the other plate's pattern...I have 4 of these
*
These leaf design placemats are from Wal-Mart
*

The napkins with sunflowers & olives came from a thrift store about 4 years ago
*
This wine holder/server I bought for a buck at a garage sale last week
*
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to visit Susan our hostess for Tablescape Tuesday at http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com to view the other participants this week.

Bo, you have the prettiest dishes and then you put them together so well, it is so inviting. That is a pretty frame around the first pic, how did you do that?

Chris

It's 6:35 in the morning and now I'm craving pasta. :-) Love everything, but really like the sunflower napkins. I'm so bad. I buy napkins, but always scoot them aside for paper unless company is eating with us. When I was growing up we all used real handcloths (facecloths, not cloth napkins) at every meal. Cheap. LOL

Off to jury duty today.... ugggh

It's early here but cheese, crackers, and wine is sounding pretty good for breakfast! You may have started something. And I'm not even much of a wine drinker(other twin just started drinking it a few months ago and likes to have a glass at night). Love your dishes.

Bo, Your place settings are gorgeous. Your breakfast nook is sweet - is that a mural in the background? The pattern on the pierced edge plate is really nice. Your placemats and napkins are also nice - as is everything.

Bo, well first of all I really like how you recreated that cloche - it really is a unique and interesting way to repair something so beautiful. Then the leaf placemats are a cute touch. I wonder if my Walmart still has those. Then of course your dishes - perfect for pasta - I may add....It really is a lovely table. ~ Happy Tablescape Tuesday! ~ Robyn

Well aren't you smart to put that metal thingy on top of the cloche. A one of a kind cloche at a bargain price. Love tablescape. laurie (bargainhunr)

Your tablescape would definitely fit in with my area in the wine country. That mural, I don't remember seeing that there before. Is that something you put up just for this tablescape? Clever. We are going out to eat tonight for my hubby's birthday at an Italian place. They have a mural on their wall.

Hi Bo, just stopping by to say how are you. I am feeling lots better and have some energy back too. That infection was dragging me down. All is well and the knee is fine. Sigh. Thanks for always asking about me. I appreciate your thoughtfulness. Take care yourself and have a good evening.
