Jan's Happy Birthday Tea Party & "Pretty Up Your Pumpkin Party" (following)

Happy, happy birthday to dear Jan and here's wishing you many, many more! Now, let's get on with the tea parties and celebration!
We will be having a light tea at my home today before we join Jan at her beautiful home...come on in...I'll be serving in my living room...have a seat...

May I show you a close up of my handpainted tea set I purchased at an antique store in 1993...it isn't anything valuable, but I loved the pretty flowers on it...and it did include the sugar & creamer...

Here's the teapot...the underplate is Limoges

isn't this cup & saucer dainty?

Here a showing of our tea tidbits...we aren't having a high tea at my house because we are moving on to Jan's for the Real birthday party...please come along...the address is:

Y'all come, ya hear?

Bye-de-bye

That's a beautiful tea set. You must have a room just for all your dishes.LOL
We don't have the ice to change a pumpkins face, but the sun and heat can sure distort your artwork.:)

Hugs,
Chris

The Tea Pot and Creamer and Sugar Bowl are beautiful...and I love your Tea Party.

I saw your pumpkins...the ice sure does make the last one look like it's crying.

Jan

Beautiful tea set! A friend of mine hand paints china. She does it for herself and does commission work. It is amazing work. I am always impressed with it. Just beautiful!

Oh, yes...our squirrels do the same flying bit...we have to keep our limbs trimed away from the house and away from the tree in the neighbors yard...if not, they fly right from one to the other. They can jump a dang mile...never saw anything like it. But keeping the limbs trimmed and the metal around the trunk has kept them out, so far, this season. I watch it closely and if I see any movement at all, I go check it out...it is birds, tho...

And, WILD HOGS was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen...LOVED IT....

This lovely tea set reminds me of some china my aunt painted and I always admired. After seeing yours, I really wish I had my aunt's set now. Those pumpkins are amazing, and what fun to see one that got so cold, he cried! Laurie (bargainhunr)
