Turkey For Breakfast? Why Not?

It is Tablescape Tuesday hosted by Susan at http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ Be sure to visit her site and view her beautiful creations and those of the other participants...
*
*
Today I'm showing you a set of dishes named "Golden Quilt" ....
I bought them at a little thrift shop for around $20 last year...
*
The turkey is papier-mache and I put a "necklace" on her....heehee
*
I especially liked the cups because they are quilted all around
*
Here are some of the companion pieces...sugar, creamer, salt & pepper shakers...it even came with the napkin holder. There are 8 dinner plates, 8 salad plates, 8 bread & butter/dessert plates, 8 cups, 8 saucers and 8 of the hugest cereal bowls ever. I doubt these are valuable, but I liked them....

Thanks for coming by...have a wonderful day!

Hard to believe Madame turkey is papier-mache. She has the look of a fine ceramic. The necklace adds the perfect touch.

Bo your tablescapes are always so beautiful.. I agree you have so many dishes where DO you keep them all... I have 4 sets (of course all in storage right now) and had a hard time finding a place for them.. I love the quilted ones and Tom Turkey so precious even if he is dolled up with a necklace... the whole setting was beautiful.. Love it

Hello Bo, your tablescapes are lovely. Thanks for sharing your style of setting a beautiful table.

Lord have mercy, if I tried to make a recipe out of my homemade vegetable soup, it would taste different every time. I use leftovers etc. and somehow it is good in spite of me. smile. I will try though.

hugs. Jeanne
