LUCKY FRIDAY 13th!

Have you had the pleasure of visiting Penny @ Miss Goodie 2 Shoes yet? If not, take a moment to meet her...she is an amazing, caring & giving lady...so much so that when she read of a family's struggle with cancer...she decided to have a giveaway for all of the participants who prayed for them...(story follows)
She created this BEAUTIFUL Easter banner & lucky me I won it on Friday the 13th!
Isn't this the sweetest thing ever...and to think, she created it...I hope you will visit her blog. She has a lovely home & garden, works full time & cares for her precious husband who was seriously injured in 2001.

Many of you already are praying for Roy at ROY'S PROGRESS! @ http://www.prayforroy.blogspot.com/
he & his family are fighting everyday against the big "C" and all of our prayers are appreciated. Please add him to your prayer list...

And now looky what else I got on Friday 13th...from my dear husband Sonny...
I know a lot of you received flowers for Valentine's...BUT...these are the first flowers Mr. Bo has brought me in years....now it's really not his fault...I told him years ago not to spend the $$ on them...but I was thrilled to bits he ignored that statement this year!

My grandson is still here until late this afternoon...he was out of school today because of teachers in service...so I have had a marvelous Valentine's & hope you have too.

Hello Bo, you are right, I am feeling much better. Less meds is a big help. My problem was falling asleep on the computer. I just couldn't sty awake. Today the staples were removed. I am so glad.

How wonderful you have your grandson. I know how 'special' that is to you and Sonny.

I had the biggest laugh about your gorgeous flowers. I told Bill years ago to quit spending money on flowers. He listened but every once in a while he would come with flowers. Always surprising me and I loved it. Sonny did a fine job picking those gorgeous roses.

Have a wonderful day my sweet friend.

Love...Jeanne

It seems I pray about cancer all the time - since my husband was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma 5 years ago. He was Stage 1 so his prognosis was excellent and he was discharged just this year. All of us know someone though who is going through it. Thanks for dropping by and commenting on my blog all the time! It's nice to know people are checking on ya'! PAM

Bo, I am convinced I have gremlins in my computer! I know I came over here and wished you a Happy Valentine's Day! And I can't find my post! SO I'm hoping yours was wonderful! :-)

And yes, we could work out a marriage contract. LOL! Her parents and grandparens are Christians and some of my closest friends. Her middle name is Elizabeth after mine. I just love her! And she loves being on the blog. LOL! She excitedly told me (while leaping around like a flea) that she was on television! Then I finally figured out they had been reading my blog. So I hope she read it today! :-)

She's in the first grade, bright as a penny, and sweet. Wouldn't that be something if they did end up getting married?

I'm honored that you would consider her! I know how special your grandson is! :-)

XO,

Sheila

Bo,
Cute bunny banner.

Glad you had such a good V. day.

Ours was fun as it is our grandson's birthday and we had a zoo party!
Perfect for a 2 year old.

I have my first tablescape done, photos taken, now just getting nervous about figuring out how to post it, do Mr. Linky, (whatever that is), and be able to show you.

Hope to see you Thursday.

Blessings,
Barbara Jean

Yes, I do think that my hubby is a great catch & we are very thankful that we found each other later in life. God was good to both of us!

Hello Bo, I was wondering if your grandson has gone home. I'm sure he has school. I know you had a wonderful time with him. I am happy for you.

Today Bob has been gone most of the day and guess what I did. Sleep all day. Lol. I guess I was tired.

I'm glad you liked my gate leg table. I do too. It comes in handy for all the company I have.

Have a great evening.

Love and hugs...Jeanne

I don't know how I missed this on my blogroll AND dashboard! I love your roses...they are a beautiful color (that's the color of my bridesmaids dresses when I got married!) I am so excited that you won that bunny garland! That was one of my favorite giveaways, and the reason behind it is even better! Glad you get some time with your sweetie! Love your shamrocks too! You're so festive! ;O)
