American Pie is the first one to read... in that... I will be going to get the one you recommended too... My biggest problem is I have separation anxiety with my books and can't get rid of them,,, LOL LOL

I love, love, love to read and now that DD is gone (that sounds awful - but you know what I mean) I have nothing but time on my hands. Our house really doesn't get that messy, just needs to be straightened up usually and then I can blog and read all night long!! LOL

I know the author of THE SHACK, the amazing self-published novel that's been on the NY Times best-seller list for the past four months. He wrote it for his children, and is somewhat biographical but deeply theological. I think the sentences that you quoted tell why word-of-mouth rather than advertising has sold this book!
