Toile, Y'all for Tablescape Tuesday

Our hostess for Tablescape Tuesday is the very talented Susan (Moonlight&Magnolias on RMS) at http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/

Her tablescapes are enchanting!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today I'm showing my black & white toile in my breakfast nook because my dining table is still set for fall
I am using a black & white quilted throw as a table cover. I purchased it about 5 years ago from Ebay
This little cherub I found for one dollar at a thrift store and I use the battery operated candles for safety
I have 6 of this scene on the plate in this close up...who knocked that knife out of place?!
And I have 6 of this scene plates... I didn't care for the companion pieces to these dishes, so I purchased the black & white cups, saucers and salad plates from Ebay. The plates were purchased at Garden Ridge about 5 years ago.
~Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day~
g'day
what a lovely tablescape, i love the idea of the tablecloth, I did a similar thing with a doona cover a few months ago
great centrepiece, I just love seeing others' ideas, I am a real amateur in the tablescape game, I like quite plain, simple styles but the more I see all the different ideas and creativity the more I am secretly hoarding treasures to add to my tables in the future heehee!
happy blogging
Sarah
This only requires one word: elegant. This is so worthy of a formal affair. Definitely black tie. Love the way the napkins tie in.
Bo, I think your tablescape is beautiful in black and white. I love a beautiful table setting. I would have joined in the fun had I remembered it was Tuesdays. Now I know.
I think I should send my dh to get those angels for my birthday. It's coming up in Oct. A reminder of how old I am getting. Getting old is not for sissies. Smile.
Hugs, Jeanne
Bo... How elegant your table setting is and not to mention I really love black & white... All your decorations and ideas are fabulous. You sometimes make me miss a house just a little... But I still decorate my motor home to the hilt for every holiday. It's on a small scale in comparison but cute... Love your ideas and you blog. Thanks for sharing
Stopping by after you stopped at my blog. LOVE that toile!
Guess what! My nickname is Bo and I have brown eyes too! I guess we have some things in common. And I'm guessing that you probably love Rhoda's blog as much as I do too.
