~A Few Fall Frivolities~

Ole Tom Turkey knows his days are numbered...

Here is a picture of my long, skinny den (15x20) done in fresco...I love that effect

This is an opened metal work pumpkin arrangement...

can you spot the little birdie in the nest..

My mantel has gourds and a fall garland plus little pumpkins on the candlesticks that actually seem to be glowing...

Here's a closer view of the gourds...they are ceramic with metal leaves..I purchased them several years ago at Big Lots

This is the built-in bookcase on the left of the fireplace...

The center pumpkin is metal and the little pumpkins inside seem to be glowing....

Another little bird nesting amongst the pumpkins...

A picture of my LR/DR done in fresco

This floral arrangement was made for me by a dear friend as a gift a couple of years ago...

I bought the mirrored pedestal in a garage sale and "married" it with the cloche...

This hummingbird music box has a Swarovski crystal flower that rotates when the music plays "Fleur de Lis"

Thanks for coming by and best wishes to all for a happy fall!

Bo, I couldn't sleep last night and it was at least 3:00am before I went to sleep. So what am I doing up now???

Your fall decorations are awesome. All the detail is just gorgeous. Your pumpkins and arrangements are perfect. Were you doing that at 3:00 am? Smile. I love the hummingbird. Your fresco picture of your den is lovely. I love those fresco pictures.

What a comfortable space ...you live in. It is very pretty. I wanted to move to Burleson once...but the opportunity passed us by. Been all over Texas before Africa. LOVE TEXAS, just hope the professor gets employed there when he finishes school!

Oh, my, Bo...all of this is just beautiful. My goodness, I didn't realize folks decorated so much for fall until I came to live in BLOGLAND.

Morning girl...so glad you like the chicken & dumplings..and if you love vegetable soup you will love this one...be sure and make some cornbread with it...just use the martha white buttermilk packs of cornbread mix...add eggs & buttermilk to it.it is fantastic! I love semi-homemade things...I just have too large a family and too many other things to do to stay in a kitchen all day but i have to have good tasting things when I get hungry...now if it bothers you to not slave over a stove all day making something...well just slap alittle flour on your face and mess up your hair alittle and stick your hands under the faucett and flick your fingers toward your face for a few drops of water and you will look and feel like you have been cooking all day! lol

I just had to come back , all that fall or Autumn decorating is simply beautiful. Her I am getting over winter and loving the season of Spring, because the A.F.L. Grand Final is this week. Slight digress here - I live in Geelong and they won last year and are playing again next Saturday and they hope to win again, the town is all decorated out in blue and white - To me the final signals that daylight saving is around the corner and Summer is on it's way. And here I am drooling over your beautiful arrangements. They are truly Georgeous. be back Margaret
