I saw on a few blogs that had to list some of their favorite things, including a list of favorite actors or actresses...so I want to go a bit further and request you to list your FAVORITE actor or actress...

Again, not sure what movie she's in here, but it shows her range to be a homely character...

she stole the show in this character study..
Oh, here's my all time favorite movie with Kathy..."Fried Green Tomatoes"
And...the grandmother of all her movies... Annie Wilkes in "Misery"
Now, anyone who can swing a sledge hammer like she did in this movie and still make me LOVE her is my choice for actress of the century!!!
I also loved her as the Unsinkable Molly Brown in "Titanic" but I couldn't find any photos of her in that role...but, who could forget her?

My FAVORITE Actor and Actress starred in the same movie TOGETHER!
They are Christopher Reeve (Superman, who died way too young) and Jane Seymour (Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman).
They starred in the MOST BEAUTIFUL movie ever...SOMEWHERE IN TIME. It was filmed on Mackinac Island, in Michigan...in 1979 and released in 1980. It's a go-back-in-time type of movie...and just LOVELY!!

Bo, this a hard choice for sure. I so admire Kathy Bates. I do think I have to pick Meryl Streep. Did you see her in Mamma Mia? She can do anything including Broadway. And she can sing!

Hi Bo, Kathy Bates is a great actress. I enjoyed the photos from her various roles. I'd like to see those movies again. My favorite actress is Meryl Streep. I think that she's gotten better with age.

You know it had to take a self confidence to hop in that hot tub naked. She's a great actress. I don't have a fave at the moment, but I do like Julian Moore and Meryl Streep. Meryl was fantastic in a Devil Wears Prada. I think Cameron Diaz is way overrated.
Ya gotta admire a woman of "a certain age and body type" for having the courage to bare-it-all. For me....I gotta go with my all time hottie Mel Gibson....he makes me drool!
My hubby was just talking about her in Misery. I have always LOVED her too. Fried Green Tomatoes is one of my all time FAVORITES :o)

One of my all time favorite actors passed away yesterday. Paul Newman was not only wonderful on screen, but he was a wonderful man!

My favorite is Meryl Streep. Hands down! I have loved her since the first time I ever saw her. She can do anything, and I believe she is a fine person, too.
