I Gift Wrapped My Kitchen Cabinets!

I might have gotten carried away with my decorating and gift wrapped my kitchen cabinets...Don't forget, my house is 45 years old so I don't have the fancy-schmancy granite counter tops of today, but this works for me...LOL
*
*
*
This is the opposite end of the cabinets....
*
*
*
This little ice skater in my breakfast nook is about 2' tall and he reminds me of Bing Crosby with his pipe...heehee

*
*
*
This barefoot Santa is one of my favorites...look at his poor red, swollen tootsies after making all of those deliveries...I picked him up for $3 at a church sale...

*
*
*
Have you ever seen a bicycle Santa before? This one is 2' tall and his bike has a real chain that turns the wheels. He is sitting on the kitchen pass through to the family room....
*
*
*
This little cookstove plays 25 Christmas songs...the little bear on the oven door pulls it open and there are chocolate, cinnamon or mint discs that give off a scent when it is turned on...the bear stirring the pot turns around & around...
*
*
*
And lastly, a couple of Christmas trays behind my ceramic cooktop...yeah, I know most everyone prefers gas, but I wanted a cooler kitchen & replaced the cooktop & wall oven with electric...
*
*
Thanks so much for coming by...I wished I had made some cookies & hot chocolate for you in the pot I won from Susan @ BETWEEN NAPS ON THE PORCH but I was too busy wrapping cabinets...LOL

Your Santas are so cute. Those gift wrapped cabinets are adorable. What a great idea. I bet that took some time on a ladder...or in a chair. :)

GM Girlfriend, well this is a first for me, I have never seen cabinets decorated like that before. I love that. And being a Santa collector, you know I love each and every one of those. I have a very small house too, Bo. Only at Christmas time do I miss my last house. We had a 10' tree in the front room and the window went to the floor, you could see the entire tree form the outside. But, I'm back in the real world now. :)

Love Ya,
Chris

Hey Bo...you have some wonderfully unique items for Christmas...that little stove is so cool...I've never seen anything like that before. I think your idea for wrapping your cabinets is so clever. Are those Christmas cards in the center? If so that's a very fun way to display them!

Hi Bo!

I'm glad your computer problems are being worked on --I know how frustrating that can be as it happened to me once, too. I ended up buying a laptop as the old clunker was so slow. Now, two years later my lap top is getting slow...duh! I'm good about deleting my cookies and temp files but hese machines seem to get old fast --lol.

I love how your kitchen looks --so pretty! That cook stove is adorable and the sore foot Santa is too funny!

Hugs, Pat

Well hey, sweet Bo! What a clever idea (w/ the cabinets!) I'm in love w/ the barefoot Santa, but I'd have to put a little black on his heels so he can be a Tarheel! :O) Ok, enough of the bad jokes. That woodstove is too cool! I've never seen anything like that, and trust me, I've seen a lot of Christmas items. That bicycle is cool too! I bet your 45 yr old house has more character than any of our new ones! LOL!
