It Takes A Village

This Christmas Village is made out of wood. Each building lights up on the inside. These were purchased at Lowe's after-Christmas sale in Gadsden, Alabama 10 years ago and retailed for over $400. ...no wonder they were leftover!
I've never seen any like them since.
These are my DH's favorite things & he sets them up every year. They are in the breakfast nook bay window.

Taking a closer look...every village needs a "Fix-it Shop"

*

And a Bakery

*
And here's The Kringle's Cottage...inside are the cutest things in each of the buildings...

*
*
*
Of course there has to be the North Pole Emporium for shoppers...

*
*
*
Can you believe they have a Garden Shoppe...have to buy those wreaths somewhere....

*
No village would be complete without a church!

We have a porcelain village as well, but seldom display it since we bought this one. All of the buildings are about a foot tall...as you can see the smoke from the chimneys are coiled copper .

♥♥Thanks for checking out my DH's village ♥♥
