This St. Patrick's Day is a very special day for me...not because we are Irish, but because I married the most wonderful man on St. Patrick's Day!
*That's right....40 years ago today we were married! It just so happened to be March 17, 1969.
So let's celebrate! We'll have a margarita...
And some guacomole & chips...
*
We'll read our cards...Awww
*
And here's his from me....
*
I wanted to show you these cute little shamrock lights I found at Big Lots. The Leprechaun figure is from a thrift store. Do you know what "Erin Go Braugh" means...I didn't. It means "Ireland Forever"

...I think I'll take liberty with that & say "Our Love Forever"!!!

We didn't have a fancy wedding so I have no wedding pictures to show, but here is one taken when we were still newlyweds...
Check out that hairdo...It was a wiglet...styled the higher the better!

Here we were for our 20th anniversary in Hawaii...the hairdo was downsized a bit more then... hmmm, is that the start of a double chin I see...
Okay, here we are in a more recent photo...yep, that's a double chin & gray hair! My honey doesn't have those big ol' owl glasses anymore...LOL
Hopefully we will be together as long as this old couple or LONGER! Don't they look sweet & lovey-dovey...
But I wonder after 40 years if these pictures aren't a little more accurate...
Who is the old guy on the armoire or who is the old guy reflected in the mirror? LOL
